A place for me to share my experiences as an artist manager - the fabulous moments along with the more strenuous ones - so people can have an understanding of the entertainment business rooted in realism. This hits hard.  Dynamic, powerhouse vocalist Vesta passed away last night, her body discovered in a Los Angeles hotel room.  When I think of “pinkie ring” chic - you know, the flashy leopard prints of the 80s, big hair and long red, vixenish red nails, Vesta is a paragon of the look.  To lose someone with such soul, such outsized personality is a tough thing, but one that we fans of soul music have grown tragically accustomed to.  Let’s PLEASE celebrate our talents while they are still here to bask in the accolades…  To Ms. Vesta, peaceful journey, and thank you for the music… thank you for you.
